National Education Conference - Call for Papers
The third Australian National Sai Education Conference organised jointly by
the Institute of Sathya Sai Education, Australia and the Australian Sathya Sai
Organisation is scheduled for the 20th and 21st August 2011. In consultation
with the participants of the 2009 Sai National Education Conference and the
Institute of Sathya Sai Education, Australia, it was agreed to hold the 2011
Sai National Education Conference at Sathya Sai School, Murwillumbah.
The theme for this conference is: SATHYA SAI EDUCATION: PRACTICAL STEPS TOWARDS FUTURE PROSPERITY
The conference will commence at 9.30 am (EST) on Saturday the 20th of August
2011 and will conclude at 2.00 pm (EST) on Sunday the 21st of August 2011.
The Sathya Sai Organisation of Australia will be responsible for providing
support services to the conference, which include registration, accommodation,
transport, catering etc.
The Institute of Sathya Sai Education, Australia will be responsible for the
conference program.
This Education Conference will focus on the role of Sathya Sai Education in
ushering a new global civilization based on spiritual values of Truth, Right
Conduct, Peace, Love and Nonviolence. Papers delivered at the conference will
emphasise practical applications of Sathya Sai Education in diverse fields of
education, human development, societal and family dynamics, economics,
environmental sustainability, and peace studies. The Concept paper gives a
broad overview of the scope of the Conference.
Papers presented at the conference should be of approximately 10 minutes
duration with 5 minutes for discussion.
Those interested in presenting a paper based on the guidelines provided are
requested to send the abstract of their paper to the Institute of Sathya
Sai Education, P O Box 697, Queanbeyan, NSW 2620 not later than 31th May
2011.
